All good points, but the problem with 'a few hours = so no cost' means that in reality an hour following these steps = an hour less concentrating on customer service, or sales, or building up a great teaching staff.
Each hour is more or less a zero sum game, so in my opinion an hour of my time is more profitably spent working on QA, management, or sales, and part of that profit is invested in paying someone who already knows programming and webmastering much better than I do - and can do it in half the time as well.
Point 7 though is definitely a good idea so you're not taken for a ride and can build trust and credibility with your webmaster....
Great blog,

I've attended many language schools over the years, and found Madrelingua to be the best of them all. The skills and enthusiasm of the staff were fantastic, but in addition, Madrelingua is also very dedicated to "outings". Every morning all classes go together to a nearby cafe, allowing you to meet and socialise with many of the students, and the school sponsored evening activities were also numerous. It made my time at Madrelingua both a great academic and social experience.
